Help Carry the mission forward
This June, I'm joining Catch The Fire Missions to travel to Africa across Zambia, Zimbabwe, Burundi, and Kenya to train, encourage, and strengthen leaders and churches serving their communities with passion and often very few resources.
When this invitation came, I recognized it immediately. This isn't a detour from my life's work in leadership and team development. It's the fullest expression of it.
Over 17 days, our small team will host 2 to 5-day ministry schools across all four nations in a single journey, maximizing our time in Africa and equipping communities throughout an entire region. My fundraising goal is $7,000, which covers eight flights (over 70 hours of travel), lodging, transportation, visas, and vaccinations.

What they receive during this time won’t stay with them.
It will multiply through every person they lead.
This is legacy work.
why i’m going
I don't take assignments like this lightly.
For over 15 years, I've worked in leadership training, helping people grow in communication, connection, and influence. In recent years, that work has deepened into something more Spirit-led: learning to hear God's voice, respond with wisdom, and participate in what He is doing in the world.
I've seen what happens when leaders stop striving and start surrendering. When gifted people humble themselves before God, everything changes. Cultures shift as control is exchanged for creativity. Innovation flows from dependence on God rather than self-sufficiency. That's what I get to bring to Africa this June.
When this invitation came to serve in Zambia, Zimbabwe, Burundi, and Kenya, I recognized it immediately. This is not separate from my life's work. It is a continuation of it.
But you can't rise to an assignment you don't recognize. Getting here has been a journey. Prophetic words, confirming dreams, and conversations with trusted voices led me to sign up for this, my very first mission trip.
I'm going with loads of lingering questions and a total abiding confidence.
This is where God is leading me.
