“Is he safe? asked Lucy.

Safe?…Who said anything about safe? ‘Course he isn’t safe. But he is good.”

Learning that God speaks to us and we can hear His voice changed my life. Releasing my voice is next.

In June I’m going to four nations in Africa - Zambia, Zimbabwe, Burundi, and Kenya.

Our small team, over 2.5 weeks, are equipping leaders and churches faithfully serving their communities, often with limited resources but a deep hunger for God.

Some moments I still feel like the little kid who got homesick at camp.

But there’s a difference between going and being sent.

the assignment

Over the course of this journey through Zambia, Zimbabwe, Burundi, and Kenya, I will be:

  • Ministering to pastors and church leaders

  • Providing prophetic encouragement and spiritual strengthening

  • Equipping leaders with practical tools to hear God clearly

  • Strengthening local churches through training and impartation

These leaders are already carrying so much.

My role is to come alongside them, strengthen what God has already established, help build what comes next, and carry home the blessing of what God is doing in Africa.

why this matters

When you strengthen a leader, you don’t just impact one person.

You impact families.
Churches.
Entire communities.

Across Zambia, Zimbabwe, Burundi, and Kenya, many pastors are leading without consistent access to training, mentorship, or encouragement.

What they receive during this time won’t stay with them.
It will multiply through every person they lead.

This is legacy work.

why i’m going

I don’t take assignments like this lightly.

For over 15 years, I’ve worked in corporate leadership training and development, equipping leaders to grow in clarity, communication, and effectiveness. I’ve trained leaders and teams to lead with confidence, inspire individuals to innovate, and empower cultures of growth that’s sustainable.

In recent years, that work has deepened into Spirit-led leadership - to hear God’s voice with confidence, respond with wisdom, and participate in how He moves in our environment. I help believers to lead by being led.

I’ve seen what happens when a leader exchanges manmade strength for surrender - when gifted people humble themselves before God and are released from control parading as power. They put down the counterfeit and begin to lead from creativity - the place where they don’t have all the answers and they’d never expect to. Empowerment and innovation thrive in and through them to everyone who journey alongside them.

Everything changes.

When this invitation came to serve leaders in Zambia, Zimbabwe, Burundi, and Kenya, I recognized it immediately.

This is not separate from my life’s work.
It is a continuation of it.

be a sent one. Be a sending one.

I’m inviting others to partner with me. This unique trip is 4-in-1. We will maximize time in Africa, equipping 4 countries with 2-5 day ministry schools - leaving a mark on a region and continent.
